Can You Build a Successful Home Business Selling Mary Kay?

We often talk of success and how to be or what to do to become successful. The one thing most people do not realize is that success can mean different things to different people.

You must first define what success means to you and once that is clear then you will be able to define what it is you need to do to achieve success selling Mary Kay Cosmetics.

Creating success in your Mary Kay Cosmetics business is an inside job, and it is manifested in taking actions which produces results.

You must have the right attitude to achieve success. Your attitude and your hunger and desire to succeed are all a part of your success formula.

That Mary Kay Pink Cadillac does not just happen, you must have a craving for it.  Then you must be willing to step out and do what need to be done to earn it. It cannot be a wish it has to be a must have goal and it will include a whole lot of selling Mary Kay Cosmetics and recruiting other people into your Mary Kay team.

Mark Twain said this“I can teach anyone how to get what they want out of life. The problem is I can’t find anybody who can tell me what they want.”

And who can forget Earl Nightingale who said this;“Today people in America can become whatever they want. Trouble is most don’t know what they want.”

A huge problem to about 97% of the people is caused by them not knowing what they want. You must realize that it is very important for you to tap inside of your own self and discover what you really want to achieve in life and in your business.

What is your WHY? What are your core desires? Why did you start selling Mary Kay?

Others can give you all the blueprints and the success formula but most likely you will not apply the formulas or even pay much attention until you have identified the things you have an intense craving or what you are extremely hungry to achieve.

Then, and only then, will you be willing to apply what you are being taught by your Mary Kay Sales Directors, National Sales Directors or any other mentor or coach you have outside of Mary Kay Cosmetics.

“The first principal of success is desire. If you care enough for a result you will most certainly get it.”

Robert Collier Napoleon Hill put more emphasis on this when he said, “The starting point of all achievement is desire.”

Given a scale of 1 to 100 your reason Why or your Core Desires should be at 100. 50 on the scale is half-hearted and being half-hearted in just about anything does not cut it. It is almost like being stuck in the valley of decision.  You must be whole hearted in your pursuit of success.

The Bible says… “As a man thinketh in his heart…so is he.”Your heart rules NOT your mind.

On your Mary Kay Cosmetics journey to success you must have your own success road map.  You cannot embark on a journey without knowing how to get to your destination.Directions need to be very clear.. Without clear and concise direction you will have a very difficult time arriving at the desired end result.

Selling Mary Kay and not having a success road map will enroll you in the school of hard knocks where you learn from trial and error. There are several places where you can get your direction or map from. A teacher, a Cd, a class, a course, a book etc.   In my opinion the best place to get your success blueprint or road map from a mentor.

A good mentor Or Coach is one who has successfully achieved what you want to achieve. Find him or her then emulate him or her. Apply every honorable attributes and characteristics that they have when it comes to creating business

success.  Assume you are in their position and act like them- think and make decisions like they do.

It really is up to you to take the action when it comes to seeking out a mentor or a coach then following their guide as long as the things they teach you are legal, moral and ethical.

You must have a willingness to grow both in your personal life and your Mary Kay Cosmetics business.

Be willing to step out of your comfort zone and step into the discomfort zone.  Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results will not do it, making a decision to change will do it.  The only reason you will be willing to do that is if it is worth it and in line with your why or your core
desires.

Once you have a mentor in your corner, and she /he has given you the plan of action to follow then you must be persistence.Persistence is truly the enemy that will eliminate your procrastination.
