I honestly believe that this whole frenzy is driven by the fact that the world today is dependent on the power of the internet and most Mary Kay Consultants and directors are realizing that.

There is also another aspect of it and that is the Massive Success Of The Heavy Hitters in the direct sales marketing Industry in general who are making it BIG TIME online-a major reason why most Mary Kay Consultants & Mary Kay Sales Directors are jumping into the attraction marketing band wagon.

There are endless success stories in online marketing.  Women who would never have made it as Mary Kay Mary Kay Consultants, or in any other MLM/Direct Sales Companies using the traditional marketing strategies, are given the opportunity to create their own success online without the company telling them they are violating their agreement. In Network Marketing/Direct sales Industry,  the sky is the limit, there are endless possibilities.

All you have to do is learn how to unlock your own potential and success by applying the right marketing approach. The honest truth about Mary Kay Cosmetics Network Marketing is that there is a whole lot of networking done but no Marketing.

Most people think that marketing is giving out Mary Kay catalogues, brochures and business cards to people in the malls, shopping centers.  Begging friends and family to join their opportunity and so forth is very popular. That in itself is not marketing.

First thing before anything can work for you is that you have to join the Mary Kay Cosmetics with an entrepreneur mentality. What you are running is a personal business and no one else can run it for you.

You are the C.E.O. or The President of your own business. When this is crystal clear, no one will mislead you or take advantage of you as it happens a lot in this industry.

As much as people love the hype and the rah….rah… rahs… at the fun Mary Kay Unit meetings, at the end of the day you as a business owner will have to map out a working plan and a strategy that works for your and your team and make sure to stick to it.

Nothing is wrong with having some Mary Kay Inventory, and I too agree you cannot run a business from an empty wagon but, what I suggest is that you match your wagon with your customers and keep building from there.

If someone has to call you every month to place an order or if you have to call someone to do the same, then something is not right with that picture.

JC Penny does not call Macy’s every month to remind them to order more stock.. (remember no borrowing from each other because Jc Penny & Macy’s don’t borrow from each other?) Now, that is the same concept. Don’t you agree?

The other thing you should always remember is that success in your Mary Kay Cosmetics business doesn’t happen overnight.  Just because you are in Mary Kay where you see women making thousands of dollars monthly or yearly. Realize that Mary Kay Cosmetics is a business and also a profession like any other.

In order to master and be great at any profession, you need to be trained. You cannot just wake up one day and decide that you want to be a doctor and suddenly show up in the hospital and start treating people.

You also cannot decide to be a pilot and show up at the airport to fly planes. Same way you would not do that is the same with network marketing and your Mary Kay Business. You will need proper training and you will need to equip yourself with the right marketing tools and strategies.

As a result of educating myself about network marketing and the industry in general, my own experience, watching others in the same industry, I strongly believe that you can succeed in just about any company.  You just have to master the art of personal branding/attraction marketing and top it all by using the internet.
